AIEED 2022 - The ARCH College of Design & Business will conduct the conducting the AIEE 2022 entrance exam, which is an online screening test, from May 1, 2022 onward. The screening test is conducted for admission to UG and PG design courses at participating colleges. The AIEED 2022 exam is being conducted in online mode. The application form of AIEED 2022 is also open and may be filled by eligible candidates.
What is AIEED?Arch College of Design and Business conducts the All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) to offer admissions to its undergraduate as well as postgraduate design programmes. The exam is held in three stages/ phases - Stage I (General Aptitude Test or GAT ), Stage II (Creative Aptitude Test or CAT) and Stage III (Personal Interaction).
Arch College of Design and Business entrance exam is designed in such a way to test the “aesthetic sense, creativity & design sensitivity of students seeking fulfilling careers in the various fields of design. It also tests the logical reasoning & problem-solving aptitude of the student”, informs the official website.

AIEED Eligibility Criteria 2022AIEED 2022 eligibility criteria are different for undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes offered by the college.
AIEED 2022 Eligibility Criteria for UG programmes (4 years duration)The AIEED 2022 eligibility criteria to secure admission in UG programmes are as mentioned below:
- Aspirants who have appeared for/cleared their Class 10+2 from CBSE/ ICSE/ IB/ State Board/ NIOS or equivalent board as per UGC guidelines are eligible for admissions.
- Candidates can apply for a four year UG programme in Interior Design with a valid NATA score/ AIEEE rank. Such aspirants will be exempted from appearing for AIEED exam and will have to appear for the interview round directly.
- Students appearing for their Class 10+1 exam can also appear for AIEED. Such candidates will be eligible for direct admission in the academic session commencing in 2022 provided they clear the interview round at that time.
- Candidates need to clear PTE Exam (Academics) within one year of course commencement for progression to UK University.

Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to complete the admission process for AIEED 2022.
Step 1: Fill AIEED 2022 Application FormAspirants can apply for AIEED 2022 in online mode. If a candidate wants to apply for AIEED exam then he/she needs to fill his/her application form on the official website of ARCH Academy of Design. The application fee can also be paid online via internet banking/ debit card/ credit card.
Application Procedure for Foreign/NRI candidates
NRI or Foreign candidates applying for admission at ARCH academy need to submit the below-mentioned documents along with their AIEED 2022 application form:
- Attested copy of the relevant pages of the passport.
- Equivalence certificate from the concerned Embassy acknowledging & affirming the educational qualifications of the candidate.
- Attested copy of proof of status of NRI/Foreign national.
Application Fee: Aspirants need to issue a Demand Draft of USD 75 in favour of ARCH Educational Society, Jaipur at Plot No 9, Govind Marg, Malviya Nagar Institutional Area, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur-302021.
Step 2: Download AIEED 2022 Admit CardStudents will have to download their admit cards for the AIEED exam online from the official website of the college. Admit cards are available for download 7 days before the online/offline exam (as opted for by the aspirant). Apart from this, candidates are also sent a link containing their AIEED 2022 admit card on their registered mobile numbers.
Step 3: Give AIEED ExamAIEED is conducted in two phases – Series 1 and Series 2. Aspirants need to note that Series 2 entrance test is conducted only if seats are available for admissions. Candidates will have to give AIEED exam as an online test. Candidates will be given three slots from which they can select the slot in which they want to appear for AIEED exam. The exam slots are mentioned below:
Option 1: 10 am to 1 pm
Option 2: 2 pm to 5 pm
Option 3: 6 pm to 9 pm
Apart from this, while giving the online AIEED exam candidates need to ensure that the below mentioned things/aspects are in place:

This stage of AIEED admission process requires shortlisted candidates to appear for an interview and portfolio round. In this round aspirants need to perform the below-mentioned tasks:

| Show Portfolio | The portfolio needs to be shared with the design school before the interview round. A Portfolio is the visiting card of the candidate, speaking of their interests & abilities and is a collection of any previous creative work done by the candidate in the form of illustrations, sketches, photographs, essays, prose etc, even films & slideshows that can be shown on a mobile phone. |
| Skype Interaction | On a Scheduled date and time applicant will have a Skype Interview with Arch's Panel of Experts Candidates failing to appear for an interview session would not be considered for admission. Their applications will be cancelled. Rescheduling of the interview in rare cases would be accepted if an application mentions the reason for absence clearly. The result for AIEED exam would be declared on the official exam website of ARCH Academy of Design. Candidates will be selected for admissions based on their performance in:
- Previous educational field
- AIEED exam result (NATA/ CAT/ MAT/ AIEEE score in the respective courses)
- Interview+Portfolio
AIEED 2022 exam centres have been declared. While filling the application form for the AIEED 2021 exam, aspirants can fill in three exam centre choices from the ones mentioned above, as per their preference. Candidates can view AIEED exam centres in the table below:
